The nose of Tyrrell’s Vat 47 Chardonnay shows delicate citrus with vanilla oak. The lime, grapefruit and cashew flavour balance well with the acidity and overall it is creamy, slightly smoky with medium body and a long smooth finish. This wine will be even better with a bit more time in the bottle. Then it will be excellent to drink with a mushroom risotto.
