Scarborough Yellow Label Chardonnay 2017
From a solid vintage of typical Hunter conditions, this wine reminds us why Scarborough Wine Co take Chardonnay very seriously - it’s the grape they hang their reputation on.
A warming bouquet of poached pears, dry roasted almonds, citrus blossom and perfumed French oak dazzle on the nose. The fine and textural palate is vibrant and fruity with nougat and grilled nuts giving complexity. It's a wine of great drive and structure.

Peach, butter, clove and cedar spice. It delivers peach and pineapple flavour along with a little citrus, has a good core of acidity and pleasingly flinty finish. Combines freshness and flavour, though largely hums along to its own tune ever so happily. Lovely drink. Bang on for value and style.
