Riddoch Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon 2018

  • Product details
Named after one of the founding fathers of Australian wine; John Riddoch, current winemaker Neil Doddridge maintains the nod of quality with consistent medal wins. Sourcing from the famed terra rossa soils of the Coonawarra wine region he creates smooth, black berried Cabs with balanced power and suppleness. Winter events with slow cooked meats would be a great match with this wine.
  • Tasting notes
This wines maturity is starting to show with a garnet hue surrounding the purple colour. An expressive varietal nose of black current, black plum and liquorice give way to aged characteristics of cigar, fig and cocoa. Firm tannins hold together an all-round smooth palate, giving a very drinkable and great valued red.
