Perrier-Jouet Belle Epoque Blanc 2008
"Perrier-Jouët Belle Epoque 2008 is a wonderfully vibrant vintage that presents crisp freshness with good length on the palate – the ideal balance of delicacy and structure." Hervé Deschamps, Cellar Master
Springtime fragrances emanate in the glass with light scents of hawthorn and plum blossom. The fresh aromas of white-fleshed fruit are then enveloped in candied citrus notes. This is a wonderfully vibrant Champagne displaying an invigorating, lively palate with a hint of freshness.

One of the most famous bottles with the distinctive floral decoration. This is looking very bright and tidy in 2004, with a wealth of deep-set complexity on the nose, citrus peel and pith, some honey, grilled nuts too. The palate s authoritative, with very powerful savoury and commanding flavours of cashew and almond, some brioche and stone fruits to close. A majestic Champagne.
Huon Hooke, The Real Review
2007 - A marvellously fine, subtle, discreet Champagne with tremendous chardonnay-driven finesse and delicacy. Perfumes include lemon meringue, candied grapefruit peel and small white flowers. The mousse is super-fine and creamy. The clean finish has fresh acidity and avoids austerity. (Cork)
