Vintage 2015 - Grown from cuttings from selected vines of the 1835 plantings via the 'selection massale' process, looking for clonal diversity, but also ensuring all clones have desirable growth and yield patterns. Unsurprisingly, the wine bows to its father with its complex blend of dark purple fruits and savoury/spicy/earthy structure. Screwcap.14% alc

Vintage 2013 - No mistaking its appeal. Berried flavour, complexing notes of tobacco leaf and leather, a general savoury/earthy/spiciness and the sweetness of fruit to keep you tipping back for more. Integrated tannin. More or less unresolved on the finish but time will take care of that.
