Grosset Springvale Riesling 2019
From the ACO-certified organic Springvale Vineyard in the Clare Valley, this wine shows why Jeffrey Grosset is 'the godfather of Australian Riesling' and one of the ‘50 Most Influential Winemakers’ (Wine and Spirits, USA) in the world today.
With intense citrus aromatics that linger, all focus moves to the taut palate powered by intense lemons, lime pith and enticing florals. The finish is long, zesty, and bone dry, yet balanced with a touch of restraint and satisfying finesse.

Vintage 2015 - Pure Clare pure watervale, pure Grosset and pure riesling. Dry, chalky, talc-like and long. Sometimes dryness has a glitter to it, cut, the sensation of quartz. It does here. Lime zest and lime juice notes give the flavours flow, run, race. Arrestingly good.

Vintage 2016 - The bouquet is chalky, savoury and flowery, very clean and overt, pristine and overt. The palate has more weight than the Polish Hill, and more power. It’s a wine of great clarity and purity, and the most impressive Riesling on the day.
