Caillard Mataro 2014
This expressive and generous Mataro showcases why the variety is one of the Barossa’s most evocative. It's one for collectors with its label painted by winemaker Andrew Caillard MW
A wine generous in its fruits of blackberries, cranberries, herbs and exotic spices. It features slinky tannins and a linear mineral freshness. Ageing in a combination of new and seasoned French oak barriques allowed the fruit to develop richness, volume and complexity.

Vintage 2014 - New art each year on the bottle, and in the bottle. Boysenberries, clod earth below, perfume above, spice box, and gentle pencilly oak. Medium bodied, fresher this vintage, almost perky with acidity, firm well-knit tannin binds the juicy, almost malt and cherry-like fruit flavour, then crisp and fresh on the long finish. Distinctive wine. A lighter shade of Barossa."
