Reminder Over Wine Show

WINEMAKERS on the South Coast and Southern Highlands are reminded they still have time to enter the Kiama Regional Wine Show, set down for September 17.

The Kiama Show Society says the fifth annual show will again follow standards established by the Australian Society of Viticulture and Oenology and the Royal Sydney Wine Show.

JAi Events director Carole Johnston said the event was open to wine produced from grapes grown in the Shoalhaven Coast and Southern Highlands Wine Regions and surrounding districts that are not classified in another wine region.

Mrs Johnston said the wine show was judged strictly to international standards, providing producers with an opportunity to gauge how their wines compare with others in their region.
