New Power Phase Begins

ENERGYAustralia has begun the first phase of a $34 million upgrade to the electricity network in the Hunter's wine district.

A new power line will be built from Stanford Road, Heddon Greta, to Duffie Drive, Cessnock.

The second phase, a new substation at Kurri Kurri, is set to begin in September.
