? BROKE'S Fordwich wine region is quickly becoming likened to the well-regarded Pokolbin.

The village has been bolstered by the success of its third annual A little Bit Of Italy In Broke festival on Saturday, which attracted more than 1000 visitors.

Event organiser Ian MacDougal said restaurants were full, and wine tasting, games of bocce and live Italian music kept visitors amused.

Visitors, like Lina Rolfe, of Pokolbin, found other entertainment, picking their own olives.
