HUNTER Wine Services has won an appeal in the NSW Land and Environment Court to expand wine making facilities at Muswellbrook.

Permission for the expansion, at the former Oak Dairy factory, had been granted by Muswellbrook Council in 2003 but there were disagreements over the size and colour of vertical tanks.

The Land and Environment Court ruled in favour of the wine services.
